Thacher State Park is a premiere destination in Voorheesville. Thatcher Park draws people from all around the area. Some come to see the spectacular 100 mile view. The park provides grills and picnic tables. The park has volleyball courts, playgrounds, ball fields and numerous picnic areas with nine reservable shelters. Interpretive programs are offered year-round, including guided tours of the famous Indian Ladder Trail.
